A Letter from the Executive Director
Queen’s House Retreat and Renewal Centre is a place of hospitality and healing that serves our community as a sanctuary of beauty, calm, peace and community. Established by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Queen’s House welcomes all people within the context of their unique life experience. They come to pray, to seek healing and human dignity, to deepen their spirituality, and to grow in knowledge of self, the world and God.
Queen’s House welcomes a variety of community groups and organisations, both multi-faith and non-denominational, people of all ages and traditions who are searching for peace and integration in their lives. Our facility and beautifully landscaped grounds on Saskatoon’s riverbank has been of benefit for non-profit organisations, support groups and a place of healing and reconciliation for many individuals. Queen’s House regularly subsidises and sponsors individuals and groups who cannot afford the financial cost of attending programs or people who cannot afford the cost of accommodation. This important work requires the generous support of patrons such as you in order to remain in place, to be sustained and indeed, to flourish.
We invite you to consider attending or otherwise supporting our annual Fundraising Dinner, Raffle, Life Auction and Entertainment on Thursday, November 19, 2015. The evening begins with cocktails at 5:30, dinner at 6:45 followed by our “Greystone Singers” at 9:00 pm. The cost is $100 per person which includes a single $20.00 raffle ticket for all raffle draws and a $55.00 tax receipt.
